Veteran actor Dev Anand passes away

Evergreen actor Dev Anand passed away Sunday following a cardiac arrest in London. He was was 88. His son Sunil was quoted as saying that the legendary actor died at 10 P.M. London time. Dev Anand was in London for a medical check up.

Dev Anand was an Indian Hindi Cinema actor, director and film producer. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002 for his contributions towards Indian cinema.

The demise of great Dev Saab has left a void in our hearts, one that can’t be filled in the longest of time. The film fraternity is mourned the loss of the legendary actor.
