Bollywood is following a trend of remaking classics. Agneepath is an action thriller film remake of the 1990’s Agneepath. Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra.

The trio of Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Hrithik Roshan have delivered excellent performances backed by a powerful screenplay and background music. Hrithik Roshan is in the lead role, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan. Priyanka Chopra is the female lead. The main villain is played by Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor is in another negative character. Shree Ganesh Sahadeva and Chikni Chameli has added colors to the movie. Movie is excellent till the end of the song- Shree Ganesha. But the climax of the movie is poor. It could be much and much better. On the whole 3 and half to Agneepath from BuddyBits.

Story

Set initially in a village called Mandwa in India, Agneepath which eventually moves to Mumbai, is a simple story of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) who wants to take the revenge of his father Dinanath Chauhan’s murder from Kancha (Sanjay Dutt). In the journey to achieve his goal, he stumbles upon Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor) who becomes his Godfather. Also, meanwhile, he grows up with girl in neighborhood, Kaali (Priyanka Chopra) who eventually becomes his love interest. Now, how will Vijay accomplish his task is the rest of the story!

Overall

Agneepath is a recommended movie from BuddyBits.
