How to set a Video as Desktop background wallpaper in Windows XP


Do you ever thought  about placing a video as your desktop background.It is very simple to put your favorite video as your desktop wallpaper ( moving ) with sounds.You may place any video ( mpg,dat,vob,flv,mp4,mkv anything ) as desktop background in all versions of windows.
To set a video as desktop background follow these steps :

Play video in VLC Media player  ( Click here to download latest version of vlc media player for windows )

  • Right click inside vlc media player.
  • Select Video and then click on DirectX wallpaper
  • You have successfully done !!
  • To disable this just close the vlc media player.
