Medal equally important as ethics for Saina Nehwal!

As OLYMPICS progresses Indian medal tally has counted up with 3 medals: Gagan Narang (bronze), Vijay Kumar (silver) and now it’s Saina Nehwal with bronze but this time with some disappointing situation as her opponent WANG (China) withdrew with knee injury.

But instead of running for her medal celebration Saina first went to Wang to show her concern and well kept sportsman spirit(rather sportswoman!)

Her journey through Olympic

Group Sabrina Jaquet (Switzerland) Won 21-9, 21-4
Group Lianne Tan (Belgium) Won 21-4, 21-14
Pre-quarter finals Yao Jie (Netherland) Won 21-14, 21-16
Quarter final Tine Baun Won  21-15, 22-20
Semi final Wang Yihan (China) Lost 13-21, 13-21
Bromze medal match Wang Xin Won 18-21, 0-1(retired)
