HTC has confirmed its first Windows Phone 8 device, 8X in the HTC’s event. The smartphone is packed with latest Windows and HTC applications and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset, Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
It sports a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 720p full touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The WP8 sports dual camera in which a 8MP primary back with BSI sensor containing HTC imageChip and can record 1080p HD videos. There is a 2.1mp secondary front camera for quality video calls.
The smartphone measures 132.4 x 66.2 x 10.1mm body and weighs 130g. Also comes with 16GB onboard storage and supports up to 32Gb external memory through micro SD card. Connectivity wise the Windows phone from HTC supports 3G & high speed data, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, USB, NFC, EDGE and WAP.
The Windows Phone HTC 8X is expected to be shipped in the beginning of November in multiple colors.
