Sony Intros New Android 4.0 Based Walkman NW-F800 Series

Sony has announced its latest Android 4.0 based Walkman series dubbed as NW-F800. The new Sony NW-F800 Walkman Series will debut in Japnese market followed by the rest of global markets for expected starting price of 23,000 Yen.

The new NW-F800 Walkman Series is compatible of most of the available audio files i.e. Linear PCM, FLAC, MP3, ATRAC, ATRAC Advanced lossless, AAC, HE-AAC, WMA, and much more, also supports ample vidoe files including WMV, and MEG-4, AVC H.264.

Specification wise the new Walkman series sports a 3.5-inch large full touchscreen display with 480 x 320 pixels screen resolution. The new Walkman series from Sony comes with multiple color options and 3 memory vairants i.e. 16GB / 32GB / 64GB. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the new Walkman NW-F800 Series is powered by 1Ghz Tergra 2 Processor, a CHipset and 512MB of RAM.

Connectivity features include Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and USB. The music player comes with pre-installed Sony and Android apps and boosted by a high performance battery to deliver extra long music and video playback time.
