I Me Aur Main is Ishaan (John Abraham)’s story who considers himself to be the best. When his live-in gf (Chitrangada Singh) says, “I Love You,” he proudly says, “I love me too!.” Every time he faces the mirror and says, “I’m the best, I’m the best.”
Maa-da-laadla Ishaan is a music Company executive who lives in his rich girlfriend Anushka’s flat. One fine day he finds himself thrown out by Anushka. Soon, he shifts into an ordinary flat, where he meets a bubbly neighbor, Gauri (Prachi Desai), who is a stylist.
So here’s the man oscillating between two women, while also keeping hiskind sister Shivani (Mini Mathur) and mother busy trying to sort out his messes and taking them all for granted.
There comes a point when he has to make a choice between his love that made him a better person or being a better person by taking responsibility of the actions he has done in the past.
The three good looking actors give just average performance.
The film appears shady and inconsistent in both the halves. There are many plots and sub-plots that the director fails to join together. I’d say the screenplay is far more selfish than John’s character in the film, leaving the audience uninterested with its shaky, awkward bits.Musically the film has some amazing decent tracks.
