Movie Review: Bullett Raja

2 min

Bullett Raja is just another typical bollywood action thriller. The film has nothing new to offer. Story of the movie is not new. Direction of the movie is good. Few action sequences are original and good. Performances by all lead actors are good. Saif Ali Khan and Jimmy Shergill have done very good job. Though Sonakshi Sinha has not added much to the movie. Vidyut Jamwal’s role in the movie is short but powerful. Dialogues are good, script is written very well. Background score of the film is good. Insituational songs in the movie are just lengthening the movie. Movie, which is of 2 hour and 2o minutes could have been shorter. I enjoyed the second half. Climax of the movie is good.

Raja Mishra (Saif Ali Khan) and Rudra (Jimmy Shergill) are good friends. Rudra’s uncle is strongman and does poppy cultivation. There is animosity in his family for grabbing his cultivation. Situation makes Raja and Rudra to join Rudra’s strongman uncle’s army. Lallan (Chunky Pandey) who is aide and right hand of Rudra’s uncle kills his uncle under a conspiracy. On the other hand, other group of goons are behind Raja’s family. After coming out of the jail, for killing goons who harassed Raja’s sister, Raja and Rudra join hands with powerful minister Ram Babu (Raj Babbar) and kill Lallan. Raja and Rudra with the help of Ram babu kills Financier Bajaj (Gulshan Grover) and Yadav (Ravi Kishan), who earlier worked with Raja, one by one. Raja first meets Mitali (Sonakshi Sinha) at the time of kidnapping Bajaj and Raja starts loving her. Raja starts to be known as Bullet Raja whom public fears as well as respects too. And enters Police Inspector cum sharpshooter (Vidyut Jamwal) who has came in the city with only one target of eliminating Bullet Raja.

Bullett Raja has nothing new to offer. A typical bollywood action thriller. If you are a movie geek, you don’t have much to do this weekend or if you have extra time and money, you can pull the trigger this weekend. It’s a one time watch! If you are tired of typical bollywood action thrillers, don’t go for this one.
