Ahmedabad: iWillStudy organized a workshop on Digital Photography today in the city which was attended by around 25 photographers including beginners and professionals. The session was started with an introduction to the workshop by Mr Ritesh Ambastha (Founder, Ambastha EduTech Pvt Ltd, iWillStudy). Mr Vijay Ramole (Expert of the workshop) then started the session. He covered all basic functions of a Digital SLR and taught about basic exposures of SLR. Also introduced some of photography techniques including bokeh photography and smoke photography.
We talked to the speaker to know more about him and photography culture in Ahmedabad. Vijay Ramole is in Ahmedabad since last 8 years. He has made many short films and video songs. Recently he participated in 82 Hours Film Project and made 2 short films in 82 hours. From which, one got award for the best TVC. On asking about photography culture in Ahmedabad, Vijay said “It’s pretty amazing. There are several groups of photographers who do regular activities and meetups every week. One of the groups is Ahmedabad Photo Walkers. They go for photography on different places every Sunday.”
When we asked about his future plan, he said he wants to make his career in photography and visual editing. “We are also planning to make Gujarati music videos in upcoming days.” Said Ramole.

The workshop was great. Especially from technical prospective, explanation was very nice. Even beginners were able to understand all technical termenologies and SLR settings. Mr Vijay explained so carefully.
Workshop was very nice. We understood basic functions and features of SLR. Even if we don’t want to become a professional photographer, what care should be taken while capturing photographs through SLR was taught in this workshop.
