Lion of Gujarat, first Hindi film made in Gujarat to release on 26th June

There have been many films in bollywood with stories or characters based in or linked to Gujarat. But this is the first time that a Hindi film is being made about the struggles and courage of an IPS officer in Gujarat. Dinesh Lamba is the man behind the movie. He’s also acting as the lead in the movie. The film is set to release on 26th June ’15. There are more than 100 artists that will debut onscreen with this movie.

The shooting of the film took place in Jamnagar, Porbandar and other places. The story is of a fictional character R. K. Charan, who is an IPS officer from Gujarat. The film is an action thriller with a lot of exciting scenes from the work that R. K. Charan does as his duty. In the press conference held in the Grand Regency Hotel in Rajkot, Dinesh Lamba said that R. K. Charan will eventually end up in Mumbai doing a watchman’s job. From the trailer the movie looks like an action packed story filled with guns and explosions. The film is directed by Dinesh Lamba himself and was produced by Jitendra Gohil. Co-starring with Dinesh Lamba are Homi Wadia and Akruti Agrawal.
