Ahmedabad: Headstart Network Foundation, a group with a vision to “kickstart the startup revolution in India”, has organized an event under their Startup Saturday format to focus on the future and development of the Internet of Things (IoT) phenomenon. The IoT phenomenon is fairly new and has a lot of potential in the India market. So naturally it is to be a favorite field for startups.
Startup Saturday is a regular event that happens on every 2nd Saturday of the month. The event is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs gain the necessary knowledge to start their own business. In the event experienced entrepreneurs share their knowledge and ideas to the attendees. There is a products demo session where new and exciting new products will be showcased. The aspiring entrepreneur can learn a lot about product development in these sessions. There is also a networking session that focuses on meeting likeminded people and experts to discuss and solve problems with their startups.
The event, which will be held on 11th July 2015 at CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad, focuses on the Internet of Things scenario. IoT is a scenario where everyday objects are connected to other object via an embedded system. These objects have the ability to communicate and collaborate with each other so that there is an environment of digital coherence. IoT aims at reducing the instances of human-to-machine interactions and thus reducing the amount of manual work in day-to-day activity.
Ruchit Surati of Locanix, Akash Kotadia of encircle.io and Piyush Yadav of Green Cloud iSoft Pvt. Ltd. will be speaking at this event. They will share their views and experiences to the attendees.
