One of the most loved singers coming out from Gujarat, Darshan Raval is all set to debut as an actor with upcoming Gujarati film Patel vs Patrick. The film was announced in a press conference today in Ahmedabad. Patel vs Patrick is a romantic, comedy and musical film and will be directed by Dhwani Gautam and produced by 24 FPS films, Vixen Motion Pictures and Dhwani Gautam Films. Darshan Raval is playing lead role in the movie.
Patel vs Patrick will set a record in Gujarati cinema as Darshan Raval is going to charge 50 lakhs for this film which is the highest any actor has charged in Gujarati cinema. The film will be shot in Gujarati and will be released in Gujarati and Bengali and will be released after Monsoon 2016. Shooting of the film is scheduled to be done in London, Scotland and Ahmedabad. Story of the film revolves around Patel. Rahul Munjaria and Darshal Raval will give music to the film. And the production house is also planning to launch Patel anthem.
Director Dhwani Gautam is coming up with two more Gujarati films this year. Tuu to Gayo and Heer are set to release in August 2016 and December 2016 respectively.
