This unwell old man was found begging around in Baijnath (Himachal Pradesh) and slept on the streets; he was badly injured and was in a miserable condition. He wasn’t even able to walk and everyone watched him to die. An NGO, United Youth of Modern India (UYMI) was informed about him. Youth from the NGO reached to him and took him to the shelter. On inquiring, they found out that the old man was from Nepal; his family had left him here as they didn’t want to live with him. UYMI team gave him proper treatment, got his hair dressed, cleaned him and gave him clothes and food. He was then admitted to the hospital due to his illness.
After a week, the old man was transferred to the old age home by the Government administration. The credit for this noble cause goes to the team members of UYMI, DC Kangra, Sh. Ritesh Chauhan, Dr Y.K. Sharma and Dr Naresh Mehta. We highly appreciate this act! UYMI has set an example and has inspired Youth of India to do something great. Team BuddyBits salutes to the efforts of UYMI.
