Well, does anyone know the limit of cruelty in a person? What is the maximum limit that they can cause pain to anyone? No, right? We wouldn’t know because we ourselves would never do something cruel that’ll hurt somebody without any reason. Also our parents have taught us sentiments and lessons that made us understanding and indifferent from the animals on the planet.
But these bikers in Vadodara shocked us by doing something so cruel that we’d never even imagine in our dreams. It was hard to differentiate if they were even humans and had feelings. Humanity had taken a back seat that day.
Two days ago on a dark night, two inhuman youngsters in Vadodara tied a dog to their bike and drove around 2 kilometres at high speeds up to 100km/h. The poor dog was lucky when two courageous heroes named Mayank Salunke and Darshit chased the devils on the bike and stopped them and proved to be her lifesavers.
The dog suffered some injuries to her paws and her skin was scraped due to rubbing against the road at such high speeds.
A police complaint was filed against the two riders and later they were identified as Sonu and Vikram. Police have arrested both the accused. When asked the reason for doing such a cruel activity, no specific reason was given and they did it just like that, for fun.
It’s really shocking to see that people like these exist in our country who don’t even give a damn to animals who has done nothing to harm them. In an era of blooming technology, human lives are getting better but animals are still at risk of such people who observe them as play things. Mahatma Gandhi once said:” The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”.
We thank Mayank and Darshit for doing such a great deed and proving that not all heroes wear capes! We strongly wish that strict action should be taken against Sonu and Vikram for this cowardly cruel act and an example to be set for others who think animals are just an object to play with.
