This week has turned out to be a terrifying week for India. According to state police’s charge-sheet, 8 year old girl was drugged, gang-raped repeatedly and murdered in a temple in Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir. Since the news has broke, internet is angry over the incident and more over the silence of state government and central government. None of the government has issued any statement or said anything publicly about this horrendous crime.
Bollywood, media and sportsman have taken social media to express their anguish over the case of gang-rape and murder of 8 year old girl child. Here are some of the tweets.

HOW do human beings go through evil acts on another human? During an act, how do they not stop? Is there no concience? No guilt? No regret? No humanity? HOWWW do you allow yourself to go through raping and killing a child?! Cannot understand it. #JusticeforAsifa

How many more children like baby Asifa will be sacrificed at the intersect of religion & politics? How many more children will have to suffer unimaginable crimes before we wake up? I’m disgusted. It’s time for swift action. We owe it to Asifa and to humanity. #justiceforAsifa.

This beautiful baby haunts me. Perhaps every parent is similarly affected? The pig tails, the innocence… sedated, raped, head bashed in? Devastating to even think about. Citizens of India, where are we going? #justiceforAsifa pic.twitter.com/cBOh07wvK2

Am told @RahulGandhi will lead midnight vigil at India Gate for #Asifa – very welcome move after unfortunate prevarications of Congress until now on #KathuaRape. Please also disown local congress leaders who backed the rapists. Am glad the candles are coming out #JusticeForAsifa

Imagine what goes through the mind of an 8 yr old as she is drugged, held captive, gang raped over days and then murdered.
If you don’t feel her terror, you are not human.
If you don’t demand Asifa get justice, you belong to nothing.— Farhan Akhtar (@FarOutAkhtar) April 12, 2018

How can anyone protect the culprits of such evil?
What happened to Asifa at #Kathua is a crime against humanity. It cannot go unpunished.
What have we become if we allow politics to interfere with such unimaginable brutality perpetrated on an innocent child?
