Did you know, ‘The Fakir of Venice’ was supposed to release in 2008 and it was going to be Farhan Akhtar’s debut film and not Rock On? Well, after the wait of almost 10 years, the film is going to hit the theaters and we can’t wait anymore.
Firangis are looking for a Fakir who can bury himself in sand in an art gallery in Venice as an art installation. They bump into a con man played by Farhan Akhtar, who is hired to find the Fakir. And he decides to pass off a slum dweller from Mumbai, played by Annu Kapoor, as the Fakir they’ve been looking for.
The Fakir Of Venice revolves around how two con men come along to con the art world. Trailer of the film looks so promising. And I must say, Annu Kapoor looks like the real deal here. We’ve never seen him acting like this before. This is certainly the best start of 2019!
